I posted a Header Topic on this board several days ago detailing my opinion on that. I know redundancy is too often the prime fodder here but I don't want to risk imposing myself as an out of state bore by repeating myself over & over. However I will expound further on my post of several days at your request. I think the key ingredient is all this far beyond the court cases and far beyond everything else is the ACC TV Contract with ESPN that is apparently slated to expire on June 30 , 2027. I think absolutely everything hinges on that TV Contract expiration date. It is now almost exactly three years until June 30, 2027. That is too far off to have any real bearing on present day events in relation to an ACC demise. Saying there is no pressure being exerted on anyone would be more accurate. There is a cottage industry across YouTube of people posting ACC demise videos for profit. That profit is called monetization by YouTube and YouTube figures cash payment by view totals & channel subscriptions. Are people as Josh Pate even possibly influenced by the all mighty dollar? Anyway we will pretty much know in the next two months. I think next year in when things really start popping. FSU & Clemson lose all ACC revenue and rights to even attend future ACC meetings when they announce that ACC departure. That is why they have not already announced that departure and will probably not do so this year. All ESPN has to do is extend that contract past 2027. I don't think ESPN will ever do that. We will all see if I am wrong.
