So basically Miami and the public schools
That has been and will continue to be the main problem for the ACC.
This is the main topic that I repeat myself on constantly. Nobody cares about the small private schools (with only two exceptions, ND and Miami. USC is the only other private of value but they are large size). That fact will always exist across NCAA football. And the fact that private schools make up over a third of the ACC is just guaranteed weakness in ratings and respect.
