We should all ask.......
ourselves this question. When was the last time Warner, FOX, or ESPN actually did anything to benefit their customers or the content they provide? I think the reality is that all this will really do is shift the pockets they are reaching into to steal money.
Formerly, they reached into the cable provider's pockets and let them be the bad guys reaching into consumer pockets. Now they are just cutting out the middleman and taking their theft directly to the consumer. Next, they cut their bids on content and shove that savings directly in their pocket as opposed to passing any savings along to consumers through rate cuts.
Hopefully, the DOJ gives them an antitrust colonoscopy. ESPN, when formed, was a great idea and they lived up to their moniker The Worldwide Leader in Sports. Now they are little more than bloodsucking scum taking fans and customers for a ride along with a host of other media companies, including their partners in this current proposed venture.

Should be 14. A 16 team tourney makes the SEC and B1G CGs a day of rest.
