Anybody know why Canada had to play in Houston rather than Toronto?
Seems like a co-host country would get to play at home similar to Mexico playing in Mexico City next.
Edit - never mind, I see now that because they finished 2nd in their group they had to play at a US venue. If they finished 1st in their group, they would have played in Canada.

Would have been the same for any 2nd place team from that group. All pre-determined, nobody gets to choose where they play.
