My wife just got a hip replacement
I should of done it with my saw saw in my dirty filthy garage and maybe she would not of ended up with an infection.

When my time for this comes, I don't think I will be able to do it. I get
creeped out just looking at that stuff. I'm going with the wheelchair.

wait till you experience the pain
The surgery is one the worse painful surgeries and the recovery is very painful for months. The pain is still better than having a failed hip because it hurts like hell even if you are sitting.
