...like Waffle House, Olive Garden, and Golden Coral...lol. When mediocre food is considered fine dining, one has to wonder what they normally eat over there...lol
I did see one clip of an Italian speaking the truth about the bread and pasta in the US being crap. He was definitely spot on in his assessment.

asked TSO about this and she agreed. And she's a Cordon Bleu pastry chef who worked for 25 years as a chef and pastry chef on Hilton Head. Fine restaurants and then high dollar private community clubs.
A lot of bread and pasta in America that's passed off as Italian is actually from Italy.
