No one got Phil Appleby's record-breaking Scrabble word "oxidizers". My mother used to say that a combined 600 points by all contestants was indicative of a well-played game of Scrabble. PA got almost twice that many with just one word! I am still unsure how PA managed to get quite so many points even if he got two triple word scores.
