Yesterday I changed air filters in the Honda. The engine air filter was filthy and there were LEAVES inside the housing on the surface of the filter. How on earth do leaves even get in there? Don't tell me they suck up through the exhaust system in reverse. I'm not gonna believe that one.

...they can easily enter the engine compartment and get sucked into the air cleaner intake. Check your cabin air filter. I'll bet you'll find the same stuff in there.

gawd awful filthy but no leaves. Going for my state inspection tomorrow and my guys will hound me if I show up without changing the filters. Saves me $30 to do it myself.

defense I gave it less than 10 days ago. It's still going be a backup, but I'm gradually migrating the functions it served over to the Acer.
