OK, I copped out. Had served a total of 7 months jury duty in the CLT,
(two trials and 6 months of grand jury duty) I think I did my bit as a citizen.
I now have this:
"Thank you for your email and attachments. Please note you have been excused from jury service on June 17, 2026, and you do not need to call, nor will you need to appear. This is a permanent excusal, and you should receive no additional Jury Summons from Gaston County. Have a great day!"
"*IMPORTANT - If you receive a phone call stating that you have missed jury duty and are required to pay money in order to avoid being arrested, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY! This is a scam. DO NOT pay any money or meet up with anyone. We will NEVER contact you over the phone if you miss jury duty and we will NEVER ask you to pay money over the phone."

I had an IT consulting business and was the sole income.
Eventually, I had that consulting business and a very sick wife.
I am not sure I would be a good juror any ways. I would be a hanging juror (:>)

duty and the host of perverts and pedophiles would turn your stomach. We alternated Mondays with another jury and on our days we almost never turned away an indictment.

pool this past year and to make sure I check my mail in case I do get summoned to potentially serve on Jury Duty.
I'm beginning to think it's all a ruse.
