Weed & Feed - Done!
Feared the humidity was too low for sufficient dew on the grass for the W&F to stick to, but the grass was perfect for application. Glad I didn't wait another hour (or two) to put it down...l

sprouted that are too numerous to hand-pick. It's too soon to do a weed & feed.

I've used that product for 6 feed sessions over 3.5 years in this yard and for 5 years in a prior. Get it at Lowe's.

last summer into fall getting rid of it (for now, you have to continue to battle that wiregrass). I spent too much money on golf course grade chemicals. My golf course has bent grass fairways and greens and fescue rough. Naturally they have to battle that "stinking wiregrass" trying to creep in. If left untreated, it WILL choke out the good (in my opinion) stuff.
Very successful with that bermuda suppression....PROBLEM is, my HOA seeded in early September and I had to skip 2 Tenacity preemergent treatments (can't re seed for a month after using Tenacity).. So now I have a BUMPER crop of poa annua...which sucks too. I'm going to ignore their seeding this fall and reseed on MY schedule so I get the poa annua blocked before it germinates in September.
Maybe I'll just PAVE the front yard! This is a HELL of a lot of work on a lawn in a "Maintenance Free" neighborhood..

We were warned, advised, scolded and derided over laying the fescue next to the Bermuda. So far that's not even close to happening.

...we'll have cooler weather next week, but it's been in the 70s & 80s this past week...through tomorrow.
