Any you Richmond folk been to the Shamrock the Block? Going tomorrow with a
buddy. Based solely on photos, this appears to be the young person's Saint Patrick's Day event and the Church Hill Irish Festival is the older one. Is that accurate? Are we walking into a young-20's rage fest full of beer bongs and shotgunning? If so, sign me up! Looking at you @MP4VT2004

That turned into a wife and 4 kids so....
Sounds like it's in a different spot now, it was in Shockoe back then. I remember ending up at Siné.

...next to the VT infirmary drinking beer with a bud. He said, "let's don't take our wallets with us" when we got out of the car with our cooler of beer, and that turned out to be the right decision.
We saw people walking through the crowd drinking bottles of wine, liquor and beer, but one of the BPD officers walked past one or two of those and came straight up to us asking what we were drinking, and for our IDs. We told him we didn't have ID, so he decided he didn't want to cite or arrest us for drinking in public as "John Does," so he just had us pour our beers out and leave.
Yeah, good decision...lol
