Paramount to combine HBO Max and Paramount+ into one streaming service
Wonder how far the price increase will go?

I will pay because it will end CrapCo by 2029 as bundling revenues shrink
to nothing for declining linear assets as in bye bye.

Max Mount was good in "Boogie Nights".

How far until they call it a monopoly? The Ellisons are going to own
just about everything soon except Disney it seems like.

Netflix, Prime, Disney/Hulu, Apple+, AMC+, Peacock, etc.
There will still be a bunch of streaming services. But I doubt a couple of them are long for this world.

Seems unlikely, doesn't Netflix have an absolutely massive debt load?

From what I have read someone that doesn't care about the law has a
lot to gain.

How long until there are truly only 3 or 4 streaming platforms?
It's always seemed to me that there would end up only being a few options, and it would pretty much end up being like cable before streaming became a "thing".

If there are only 3 or 4 platforms, that sounds more like pre-cable
where everyone only had ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS. Except those were all free.

maybe just 2? Disney and everyone else.

Who does Google own? Would think they might jump into the fray.
Disney is the biggest now. Apple is in the fight. Netflix is in it too (don't know who owns Netflix). And every major network has their own streaming service.

Google owns You Tube TV and Google is HUUUUUGE.

Exactly!
YTTV is a great streaming service, but they don't do original content. I doubt they would build one from scratch, but I could definitely see them buying a current one.

Google will probably just have AI auto-create original content.
I'm only partly kidding.

Netflix is independent with Vanguard owning the most shares (7%)

You know the other services (Comcast, YouTube, etc) aren't going to like
this.
