Stock market ends 2025 with double-digit gains
It's a good time to be in the market! The stock market recorded stellar year-end returns when markets closed on Wednesday for the last time in 2025. The performance marked three straight years of double-digit gains. The S&P 500 finished the year up 16%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq climbed 19%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed out 2025 up 13%. A dip in each of the indexes on Wednesday left markets lower in the year’s final trading session.

I bought a bunch more Nebius when it dropped.
And it's going up again. Decent timing on my part. My shorts start turning into longs later this month. Though I wish I had sold those shorts when it got up to $140, because it eventually dropped to $80, haha. I could have used those massive profits to buy even more at the low point. Oh well. My early investments have still more than tripled as of today.

Good year for the US market, but International Markets did much better...
US stocks had a stellar 2025, but global markets stole the show. A major index tracking stocks outside the US, the MSCI All Country World ex-USA, gained 29.2% in 2025, handily outpacing the S&P 500’s gain of 16.39%. The artificial intelligence boom has benefited markets in Asia, where tech companies and chipmakers have seen surges in demand. In Europe, markets received a boost from plans for government spending on defense and improved prospects for economic growth. A weaker US dollar also provided a tailwind for international stocks. When the dollar weakens and other currencies strengthen, investments denominated in those currencies become more valuable when converted back into dollars. The US dollar index, which measures the dollar’s strength against six major currencies, fell by roughly 9.4% in 2025, its worst year since 2017.

Is there a good fund to invest in...
That would capture some of the major international stocks? I'm thinking about cutting my losses on a few of my underperforming stocks and just dumping that money into something more international. A fund available on Fidelity would be preferable.

I recommend investing in different sectors, both in the US & international
Best to diversify your investments.

Yep - things are good. And interest rates will drop significantly in 2026
and lower taxes will mean more spending. Energy costs will continue to decrease which will reduce costs of pretty much everything. This could be a REALLY big year.
