Sneezing fits: according to the Cleveland Clinic I have
none of top 5 causes (they only list 5) that cause bouts of achooery nearly every evening. We have taken extreme precautions to filter furnace air circulation and eliminate black mold in our faucets and drains. If it could be a dog allergy, TSO and I are on our 8th dog since the onset of our cohabitation of 24 years and no other dog has caused this. I suggested shaving our little black Labbie (see avatar), but that idea didn’t go over well. Who else has had sneezing fits of 8 or 12 or more instances in a row? WTH can be done about it? ** Edited by PhotoHokieNC at 11/6/2025, 1:14:04 PM ** Edited by PhotoHokieNC at 11/6/2025, 1:14:56 PM ** Edited by PhotoHokieNC at 11/6/2025, 1:17:07 PM

Late fall pollen. Ragweed, goldenrod, grass, etc. a good hard freeze can
Knock that out. Or a couple days of rain may help.

Pollen hit me several weeks ago.
A little coughing, but I also had a little congestion that impacted my hearing for a while. Just annoying...

So horrific, at times I wonder if I might have been able
to hock one those molars out, rather than have them professionally extracted. 😁🦷👃🏻

I actually enjoy sneezing. Also, I have this weird thing where if I feel
like I need to sneeze, I look at the sun or a bright light and...voila. I've only known a few people that also have that idiosyncrasy.

Bright sun makes me sneeze. Especially going from dark to light.

I've got "photic sneeze reflex" but usually just three sneezes in a row

I bet that's known as Mozart Sneezing. From duck.ai:
"Mozart frequently employed triplet figures in his compositions, which add rhythmical complexity and expressiveness. A triplet typically comprises three notes played in the duration of one beat, creating a pleasing syncopation within the music."

As long as he was fine with loud explosive "pleasing syncopation", I'm good

Me too. I can make myself sneeze
if I feel it coming on by opening my eyes a bit more and staring at bright light.

Me too. If I have that tickle of "I kinda need to sneeze" I can usually
force it out in that same way.
