PSA for maple syrup lovers
Costco has the Canadian maple syrup in the "liquor bottles" with the Grolsch caps again. Last year's batch was the best and freshest I'd ever tasted. I'm sure this year's batch will also be fantastic.

time every year (near McDowell). It was magical sitting on top of a ridge looking out over the mountains when they were in fall color surrounded by silence and the smell of newly fallen leaves.

Hiking the Sugar Hill loop, didn't dawn on me why it was called that until I saw the lines carrying the sap to a collection station why it was called Sugar HiIl.

because a couple of the farms have won awards for their syrup over the years. The maple glazed doughnuts may be my favorite food at the Highland Co. Maple Festival.

impossible to differentiate it from Vermont syrup or Canadian syrup.
