had to get up early to read the sports page as a kid. West cost games were the worst because they weren't in the morning paper. Baltimore was the closest city to Tidewater with a baseball team.

Jamie Moyer's allowed 522 homers (the most ever) over his 27 year career, but also pitched for a very long time, winning his final two games in 2012, the last one at the age of 49 years and 150 days, breaking an 80 year old record. In the homers allowed category, JM eclipsed Robin Roberts career record of 505.
