Saw my first red spotted lantern fly in the edge of the woods
Tried twice to stomp it but it got away.
Lovely. Yet another invasive species.
Kudzu
Autumn Olive
Emerald Ash Borer
Bittersweet
Stilt Grass
Stink bugs
Might be time for napalm.

Pretty large - as big as my thumb (this one wasn't it). Sucker was too fast and evasive to photograph. We've always had Japanese beetles on roses but never a June beetle.

tie a piece of thread around a leg, and let them go. They'd fly on the string until they broke away.....
