Time for me to replace my Chromebook. Suggestions?
I primarily use it to access TSL and other online sites and stream. I also want standard Word & Excel and a moderate amount of memory for photos, etc.. Finally, I want a larger screen. Yeah, pretty basic stuff. I just don't need to pay or too much extra features that I simply don't need. What's a good value place to start? TIA! ** Edited by Tank at 11/6/2023, 7:09:43 PM

My suggestion: don’t leave it open in a dark room and then try to
throw your phone next to it. Hypothetically

have an Acer 17" chromebook, use it exactly like that, cost about $250,
biggest price driver that I passed on was the touch screen. Don't find it useful in a laptop anyway (tablet, sure, but laptop no) and it adds a lot to the price. For memory, it has a mirco sd slot.
