Ethics gripe
I received a Christmas card from someone I know whose spouse is a state politician. It looks like a typical Shutterfly-type card printed on card stock, photos of the family, well wishes statement, etc. At the bottom of the card in the tiniest font ever it reads, "Paid for by The X for Elected Office Campaign". It just strikes me as unethical to take campaign funds to pay for your Christmas cards, professional photographer, for a photo that has nothing to do with running for office. Bah Humbug!

votes and sending out X-mas cards is a form of marketing despite the fact that many normal civilians send them out as well. We stopped sending out X-mas cards in the last couple years. No longer interested in this rat race. We're all on crappy social media sites where you'll occassionally see us tagged in some BS post by a friend who's broadcasting some social gathering we were a part of... I mean if they don't post it, did it even happen? What were we talking about again?
