But I've gotten 4 or 5 speeding tickets from damn speed cameras.
I think all in DC.

a link to see a video of her not coming to a stop before turning right on red at Indian River and Military. It was her... clear as day. Paid the ticket
Now I'm diligent about coming to a stop at red lights. I get honked at from time to time by some impatient turd behind me, but the law is the law and I ain't getting a ticket and forking over cash to to city's collection agent because I didn't take an extra 2 seconds to come to a complete stop before turning right.

"... leaders suspended the program over changes to where proceeds should be directed.
"State law requires 90% of proceeds to go to the School Board. In 2006, the last year of operation, the city generated $1.3 million from citations. The red light program cost $910,000 to run.
"Currently, four cities in North Carolina have red light cameras. Raleigh has special legislation that defines 'clear proceeds' as funds remaining after covering the costs of the program. Fayetteville, Greenville and Wilmington are paying the full 90%."

"All proceeds to to education." Yeah, right...lol

Yeah, proceeds go to schools...
But they slash regular funding to compensate for "realized funding" the lottery THINKS they will be generating. Shell game.

I always try to come to a full stop at all red lights and stop signs before turning right. Don't want an easily preventable ticket, not to mention NOT getting hit at an intersection.
One thing I do that annoys other drivers is NOT sitting in the middle of an intersection waiting to turn left at a green light (but not a green arrow). I usually sit at the "stop line," waiting to time traffic so I can zip across the intersection. If there's a constant line of cars coming from the opposite direction, I'm not going to have a chance to turn left until the next green arrow. Now if I had sat through several cycles of the light before getting through it (i.e. a poorly timed light), I will park my butt in the intersection and turn left once the light changes..lol

Even if I can't complete my turn until it turns red and I have to wait for a runner or three to get through before I can complete my turn, I get through and it's perfectly legal.

the intersection, I have to wait behind the stop line until there is room for me on the other side. Getting caught in the box with nowhere to go IS illegal.
