Both the Commanders and Capitals have headquarters in Virginia

Bring back the Virginia Squires, play home games at Richmond or Roanoke.

I think the economics just aren't there. Sure, VB/Nor/NN at 37th
has peers with pro sports teams, but none of them have a giant portion of the economy which won't buy advertising or a suite, let a lone a season ticket. 33 KC 34 Nashville 35 Columbus 36 LV 37 Milwaukee 38 VB/Nor/NN 39 Hartford 40 Salt Lake City 44 Raleigh 45 Jacksonville 47 New Orleans 48 Memphis Compare https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Kansas_City https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nashville,_Tennessee#Economy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Connecticut (for Hartford) to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Norfolk,_Virginia and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_Beach,_Virginia#Economy

Not the 757? Not Richmond or Martinsville tracks?
HokieDan95 HokieDan95 OP
Virginia International should be on that list but tracks are a diferent
animal.

The county/city system skews the city population numbers
Low. If Richmond city was a county and could include chunks of henrico and chesterfield like other cities outside of va, it would be a much different discussion.

Same in Hampton Roads. The 7 separate cities creates lack of coordination/
cooperation on large items such as this. It's an every man for himself mentality.

Probably because what ever city gets the team...
...they will reap the majority of the rewards, while the other cities who paid for it will get table scraps.

Same with Richmond getting a new baseball stadium,
