Hockey, Basketball, Weightlifting, Swimming, Jumping Rope for me
Hockey is the sport that gets me feeling the best. It is an amazing adrenaline rush. In my 50's will not be able to do that forever. Basketball comes second for me. If I can play pick up hoops at the gym for 2 hours it is a good day for me. I also love how I feel after a good weightlifting session and as I get older it really helps fend off the arthritis. Swimming laps is great as well and probably will become a bigger part of my life as I get older. The coolness of the water helps keep inflammation down and the mental benefit of the steady pace of swimming laps is great therapy. The last one is jumping rope. This one I don't do as much as I usually just play basketball but something as simple as 10 sets of 100 jumps is a quick and easy way to feel great.
