Am not huge on live baiting but do it occasionally, am more into night time in late April/May in lower lake , State Park to dam during the shad spawn , they make a distinctive "swishing" sound @ surface during spawn & sling big husky jerks, pointers etc ; you just gotta wait for em to come up ; we have caught bunches hybrid/ stripers along with big walleye & occasional largies & smallies, it's a blast, glad to try answer any questions you might have...Good Luck!
