Good news and bad news: kitchen faucet is leaking
It's leaking from the hose that connects to the spray nozzle, where it pulls out. Thought it was just the O-ring at the connector, but a new O-ring didn't fix it. Pulled the hose out again and finally discovered the source of the leak is where the metal breaded hose is clamped, so no permanent repair is possible on my end. I have to replace the hose.
Checked with the manufacturer, and that item is unavailable. Don't understand, since it's the exact same hose part number for every pull out kitchen faucet they've made in the last 20+ years. Did a part number search and found it on Amazon.
I looked at the company video on swapping it out, and it's much easier than expected...a 10 minute job?
