I'm getting that feeling about the stock market ...

Namely, "The damn thing can't just keep going up and up and up." Anyone older than about 45 remembers the tech crash of the early 2000s. It started in March of 2000. I remember my dad calling me up right before it started crashing -- he had been retired since 1992 at that point -- and saying, "The stock market's just too high. I'm getting out of it." Within a week, it started crashing. My dad was right on the money (though timing the market is a fool's errand [voice of experience]).
