I have a crazy issue with a Samsung TV and nobody I've talked to has any->
clue what is happening. That is why I am asking the all-knowing Lounge..... (OK, so that may be the obligatory sucking up, but it also happens to be TRUE!)
My 2-3 year old Samsung "Smart TV" has gone stupid. I have 3 different Samsungs. 2 are very new, and this one. All same model number, and are hooked to Xfinity in Goochland. The TV in question started out NOT having audio on commercials on ONE channel only. It is WWBT Channel 12 in Richmond, and ONLY this station. NOW, sometimes the commercials come in, and the program has no audio. Sometimes both will work and sometimes (more often) NEITHER the commercials nor the program have sound. I mean zero sound, as if it is muted. Have tried everything I can think of. This absolutely never happens on the other TVs, and ONLY happens on Channel 12 WWBT..
I am completely lost as to what to do. My last and only remaining resort is to blame the Xfinity box, but even that makes little sense. The crazy part is the ONE channel thing, and the fact that audio appears, then disappears on that channel; either program, commercials, or both...
ANY thoughts?? WTF???

^^This is good advice. Swapping boxes should confirm or eliminate the box.
