If it's not the box and an update doesn't fix the problem, you might try hooking up an over-the-air antenna to the TV to see if WWBT has normal sound via broadcast signal. If that solves the problem, it might suggest an issue with your HDMI cable and/or port on the TV. Maybe also try switching your HDMI cable from the Xfinity box to the TV to a different HDMI port?
