My 43rd NP visited and definitely in the top 5. The glaciers may be disappearing but the scenery is no less stunning as a result. Hiked the Highline Trail from Logan Pass, paddled my kayak across Lake McDonald (chased along the way by a thunderstorm), and enjoyed an evening scanning the hillsides for bears (no luck) in the Many Glacier area. It's crowded of course as many of the NPs are, but it's also big enough that there's tons of trails you can get away from the crowds on. 1 - Lake McDonald - the Going to the Sun Road traverses the peak in the middle of the shot about 10 miles away 2 - looking west from the Highline Trail just after sunrise 3 - Grinnell Glacier (what's left of it) and Upper Grinnell Lake 4 - Swiftcurrent Lake
