Replaced our fescue with zoysia last summer. Great decision.
Our fescue would get stressed and vulnerable to weed infestation every summer around July. Zoysia thrives in the heat and sunshine. Front yard looks like a PGA fairway right now. Downside is it goes dormant with the first frost, so it’s yellow from November until about April 1. But still a net plus over fescue.
