Prior to air sealing my crawlspace, we never tested above 3 picocuries. After encapsulation, levels approached 8.0 pi cu. If you are going to encapsulate your crawl, it’s best practice to run corrugated perforated pipe under the vapor barrier in a loop terminating at a sump lid. Then you can easily connect pvc to an exhaust fan from the sump lid to collect the radon from under the vapor barrier and exhaust through an existing vent.
