and there has never been such a thing as a cheap Apple phone. But I got this one for $300, which isn't that much more than a cheap android right now. BTW, I only use prepaid cell service and buy an unlocked phone outright, so I don't get any of the "deals" where they roll the cost of the phone into a 2 or 3 year contract so you never notice how expensive it is.
