Hey, while I have you around, what do you think of dry pouring cement?

the guy did an experiment where he poured two bags of cement then the two gallons of water (one for each bag) then pulled it out and showed about half of it cured, but if you were to do one bag then water then the other bag then water...? Again, in my case it probably doesn't matter too much, but sounds less muss, less fuss.
