Been to New Orleans lately?

I was in the French Quarter back in April and the NOPD was AWOL. Crackheads cooking meth in broad daylight in the middle of the sidewalk. Lots of sketchy people skulking around. The police didn’t seem to care at all. It’s gone downhill, IMHO. Their police presence, such as it is, didn’t impress me at all.
