Yeah, still not sure how to read that...

"applicants must be.....high school juniors (current year)" If they're an applicant, applying for something to happen the next summer then they would be rising seniors when they attend the experience. But as I've looked at stuff for colleges and camps, the language "current year" definitely seems to mean kids are considered to be the next grade up the minute they finish the previous year. Was hoping @HokieDiver could clear this up since his kid just did it.
