Was truly a miracle
I truly believe she was about to cross the rainbow bridge until she heard my wife's voice. The vet techs could not believe she stood up and walked out. Spend the weekend sleeping on the floor with her and feeding her any time she would accept the food, but it was awesome to have her want to live. She was an absolute joy and lived her best life to the end. We got her for our son when he was 12, and when he went to college, it was pure joy in her the minute he came home for breaks. I know she's with her bestie across the rainbow bridge and is probably ripping his ears off and pulling on his leg.

That's a tough choice - every time we left a sick pet at an ER overnight
