... and such vehicles losing connectivity & causing traffic tie-ups*. But

don't you have to acknowledge that widespread or 'majority of' driverless vehicles in use are at the bare minimum 40-50 years off? And when they're prevalent will humans accept them, or try to circumvent them or outright disable them, or legislate them out of common use? I'm not against the broader context and concepts of driverless automobiles but they're going to be up against extraordinary push back. Naturally, some may try to wedge these notions into a nifty little us vs. them political convo, and that's unavoidable also, but galactically distant from the points I'm making. *also in the Bay Area just over the past weekend
