I learned to dive in the Keys, then got my advanced open water and...
...rescue diver certs off Ft. Liquordale. The visibility was definitely lower off the coast of Broward County, not to mention having to deal with a current. The further north you go, the worse the visibility.
Can't imagine diving in water with 5' of visibility. Definitely wouldn't dive there for recreation...lol
