Getting rejections can be a trying time, particularly for a student who has always thrived academically. My daughter was rejected by four of the six colleges to which she applied. The message is that things have a way of working out despite the rejections. After all those rejections, my daughter earned her undergrad degree summa cum laude from Georgia in only three years. She then went to the UGA law school and graduated there before her 24th birthday. Between in state tuition and some scholarships, she spent less money at UGA that than her twin brother did in four undergrad years at VT.
