Yes. My Dad became good friends with Mr. Williams.

In mid 80's we moved to Orlando when Dad came to the Orlando Sentinel to write. We would go see Mr. Williams in Winter Haven, FL with the Red Sox at Spring Training and sometimes Dad and he would play tennis. I would serve as ball boy.
