of the circumstances. That said, it is really hard to say where the responsibility was for this issue. So in my view the people at the company should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. At VT, if there was a blind eye turned, there should have been penalties imposed, including firings if warranted. I’m an animal lover so I have no use for abusers. I don’t believe that the fact the victims may be dogs or cats makes it somehow ok. Thus I have no sympathy for Mike Vick and his punishment. On the other hand, I think eternal blacklisting of VT based on this episode is a bit much.
