parts search and found that the “ assembly” was no longer available. However the individual parts, spindle casing, spindle shaft, bearings, etc are all still a go. Decided I had too much going on to do that myself and took it to my reliable but slow repair guy. He called me two weeks later and told me his snapper rep told him there was no way to get parts now. I told him I had found them and would be glad to order. “ well…well, let me do some more digging”. Next day “ oh, I found some parts”. He recently became a rep for a line of mowers. Trying to con me into buying a mower? Afraid of losing his markup on parts? I try to be a trusting guy, but going through exact same scenario with my old garden Ford Explorer. Arrrrggghhh.
