Honestly not sure on this one.

It can get really confusing honestly. The main push is for recycling but it’s not the easiest program to navigate. And while I’m not sure if it is still this way, at one time not to long ago some solar panels actually fell under hazardous waste disposal and that was hard to determine. Panels could be same model and come from same company but some were hazardous and some non hazardous based upon metals used in conductors etc.. they can contain lead and cadmium which can leach out if landfilled. Unfortunately the technology is still going through the growing pains of “ green energy” but how green is it really? I’m not sure and I definitely am no expert😂
