Most of those who held the office are obscure footnotes to history; however, there were two, Richard Henry Lee (VA) and John Hancock(MA), who also signed the Declaration of Independence. The others [Thomas McKean(PA), John Hanson(ND), Elias Boudinot(NJ), Thomas Miffin(PA), Nathaniel Gorham(MA), Arthur St. Clair(PA), Cyrus Griffin (VA)] were far more obscure.
