They've had better surrounding people in the past. My mom is 84 and is kickass for her age, but there's only so much dealing with someone falling on her once a quarter she can and will take. We go to a lot of Caps games. Weekday crowds are the worst on the 400 level because there are a lot of big corporate ticket buys and 20-30 year olds showing up to drink, socialize, and be obnoxious. The regulars who come to see hockey lose patience quickly, and I've seen some situations escalate quickly. If asked, the ushers are generally pretty quick to act. That said, they probably do 41 hockey games and 41 basketball games plus concerts every year, so they have more experience and less tolerance.
