What about an electric clothes-dryer, water-heater, & oven? I'm thinking if

Tafkam turns down his thermostat to 65° each night before going to sleep, he could eliminate the emergency heat as a potential source. What about canvassing the neighbors to compare electric bills? I would think that could serve as a good baseline for comparison, perhaps?
