Going to visit High Point Wednesday morning then driving into Charlotte for the concert at 7pm (which my daughter says we have to get there when they open the doors so we can get in line to get "merch" before they sell out......oh boy!) I'm assuming the concert will finish around 11pm or later. My original plan was to drive back to Christiansburg that night, but decided we could also knock out a visit to Davidson if we spent the night. I'm thinking of driving up a little ways closer to Davidson/Lake Norman so that we don't have to get up super early that day and fight traffic to get to Davidson. I have a friends and family discount with Hilton so I'll probably find a Hilton brand hotel nearer to campus so that we can get up and eat breakfast at the hotel and make the short trip over to campus for our 9AM tour. So I guess really the only think I need to decide is parking for the concert itself. I'd also like to get there early enough before the concert to park and get something to eat (within walking distance).
