ding, ding, ding, correct!

Daniel Morgan, from Winchester, led the Continental Army at the pivotal Battle of Cowpens in South Carolina. Morgan knew that the militia under his command would run when confronted with a British bayonet charge. He asked them to run to a particular spot to reorganize and then counterattack. Morgan inspired a portion of Mel Gibson’s character in the movie The Patriot.
