Re. flying...I too remember taking a flight being an "event" that you

dressed up for. These days you will literally see people wearing pajamas on a flight. Sure, you've got a random person here or there you can tell they have a business meeting of some kind as soon as they land and they still dress professionally. But the majority of the plane is dressed for comfort. Granted, the experience of flying also used to be pleasant. That is completely gone too. I definitely understand the sentiment that if I'm going to have to wade through an experience that sucks, I may as well dress comfortably.
