Thinkng "Babes in Toyland" (1961)

Although I can't be sure it wasn't one of those movies that were shown once a year on tv. I'm pretty sure it was the first time I sort of got what "music" was and liked the "March of the toy soldiers" and wanted to hear it again even though I didn't/couldn't really follow the plot of the movie.. Before that I was pretty clueless what music was supposed to do. Even now if someone were to ask me what my favorite tunes of all time I would include that even though I don't remember what I liked about it. I mean, it's a pretty snappy tune but just can't pull in any memory of it. I'll give myself credit, it had Annette Funicello in it. ** Edited by `lag at 5/25/2026, 5:27:19 PM
