ding, ding, ding, correct!
The first commercial flight was from Tampa to St. Petersburg, FL on Jan 1, 1914. This would have been quite convenient for the passengers. The first bridge across Tampa Bay was not built until a decade later. Although the mayor paid $400 for his inaugural ticket, standard fare was $5/person.
